Lowe's for Pros

I am repeatedly AMAZED at what is available on the Internet at no cost to the user. Recently I came accross another site LOADED with tools for the property manager. Check out www.LowesForPros.com.  To access all portions of the site, you need to register.  The registration process is simple and fast.

The site has an entire section designed for property managers. You can design ads, forms, read about business issues and products. But the most amazing tool they make available is an on-line Property Management Building Software tool.  According to the site the following features are available:

  • Send personalized postcards, electronic mail, or print flyer to your tenants featuring valuable discounts and rebates
  • Enjoy savings on repair and maintenance
  • Place and print/e-mail work orders online to contractors - it’s free and easy!

We’re testing it now and if you are in the market for an on-line maintenance tracking program, this appears to be a decent solution.

I can say the quality of the resource articles is terrific.  The advertising tool is limited, but may be workable if you have a repair or construction department as a part of a property management company.  And the forms are definately a decent tool to remember you have free access to.

While this site doesn’t provide answers to ALL of your needs, it certainly provides answers to some and you can’t beat the price!
