The use of available rental pricing to assist owners and managers to better evaluate the rental value of available rental units has been around for a number of years.  The first launch of tools has now given way to a second improved group.  Some tools have disappeared, others have reinvented themselves. 

Here are a few of the ones we feel offer better than average results.  Remember, the data used by these internet sites is based on asking or offering prices.  The data is not the result of actual signed leases or transactions.  These rental value estimates are similar to a Zillow.com home value, which bases its estimate on the nearby asking prices of similarly situated property.
