There is another new kid on the block, PadMapper.com. The rental mapping tool was built around the mapping concept. So there is no basic “list” of apartments that turns into the map; the map is the list. This means the map gets all of the real estate, which is the way it should be.
PadMapper obtains its’ data feeds from CraigsList.com, Apartments.com and Oodle.com and whatever information is available there, is available on PadMapper.com. In addition, Google street views are readily accessible to the user and they are FAST!
There does not seem to be a widget yet to make the data available on a property management web site. Let’s hope that is coming soon! It’s a great tool and I suspect apartment hunters will enjoy it’s simplicity and ease of use. I know I did.
