Unless you live under your computer, you have probably heard of Twitter, but if you are over 30, you are probably not really sure how you might use it in business.  In case you are over 40, you may not even really understand what Twitter is.

Twitter describes themselves this way:

Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?

Twitter has also been described as a “free social-networking micro-blogging” site.  Another way to describe Twitter is as a way to communicate with others in mini, short-hand conservations or “tweets”.

How might Twitter benefit you in your property management business?  Visit the Association of Realtors Library at http://www.realtor.org/library/library/fg234 for a complete list of Twitter real estate oriented articles.  Or, check out this Blog page for 50 ideas to use Twitter in business http://www.chrisbrogan.com/50-ideas-on-using-twitter-for-business/.

Or visit Twitter at their home site and sign up to try the service.  It just might surprise you.
